Mission Statement
Christ Hospital, a community healthcare provider, exists to promote and improve the health of the residents of Jersey City and the surrounding communities through the effective provision of quality healthcare.

The Department of Nursing is committed to a “Patient First” philosophy for delivering quality healthcare in the safest environment possible.

The Department of Nursing implements and maintains standards of clinical nursing practice and patient care consistent with evidence-based practice and the recommendations of accrediting and regulatory agencies.

The Department of Nursing promotes an interdisciplinary approach to patient care while respecting the diversity of the cultures, the faith traditions, and the autonomy of the patients we serve. The ultimate goal of the Department of Nursing is to assist each patient in reaching an optimal level of health.
