Visitor Information
In response to the rising number of flu cases in New Jersey, Christ Hospital is taking steps to protect our patients and staff by temporarily restricting visitors under the age of 18.
Effective November 11, 2009, visitors under the age of 18 will not be permitted to visit hospitalized patients, including the Maternity and Pediatric Units.
We also ask that visitors with the following flu-like symptoms refrain from visiting:
These temporary guidelines are in accordance with New Jersey Department of Health and CDC recommendations and have been implemented to keep your loved ones and our staff safe from flu. You may be asked to wear a mask upon entering the hospital and visiting on patient floors and rooms.

Revised Visiting Hours are as follows:
General—Pediatrics—Maternity
9 am – 9 pm
18 years or older
Limit 2 visitors per patients
Maternity:
Fathers may visit 24 hours
Critical Care
Open visiting hours except:
6:30 am – 8 am and 6:30 pm – 8 pm
during shift reporting
Immediate Family Only (over the age of 18)
Limit 2 visitors per patient
Psychiatry
Monday – Friday 1 pm – 2 pm
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7 pm – 8 pm
Tuesday 7:45 pm – 8:30 pm
Saturday – Sunday 2 pm – 4 pm and 7 pm – 8 pm
All visitors must have a visitor's pass. These passes are issued at the information desk in the hospital lobby.
Parking
Although you may be able to find parking on the street, please note that there are signs which restrict parking on many streets in the neighborhood.
To avoid a parking ticket, we recommend that patients and visitors use the Christ Hospital Parking Garage located near the main entrance of the hospital. Parking fees are posted at the entrance to the garage.
